At Murwillumbah Smash Repairs we are a family business servicing the Tweed Valley owned and operated by a father and son team of Des and Michael Knight.

DES has owned and operated the business since it started in 1984 and is a well known identity in the local community and has over 40 years experience in collision repairs. In 2022 Des has welcomed his son Michael into the family business.

MICHAEL brings to the business a fresh new approach to collision repairs and a wealth of industry knowledge. After completing his apprenticeship at the top of his class, Michael went on to represent Australia at the WorldSkills Olympics in Finland. He then spent 12 years as an insurance assessor for one of Australia’s largest insurers, and has spent the last 3 years working for one of the largest smash repair facilities on the southern Gold Coast and Northern Rivers area.
